Executive Director

This senior management position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Community. The Executive Director coordinates, plans, implements, monitors, directs, and evaluates all aspects of operations, including the supervision, support, and coaching of associates. Essential functions include meeting financial expectations, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring a quality customer-oriented workforce. Comply with all aspects of operations, including personnel practices, in accordance with Pacifica policies and federal, state, and local regulations. Strategize regarding labor, occupancy mix, expenses, and quality of services; review and redirect activity, if necessary. Hire, orient, supervise, evaluate, review, and discipline subordinate staff, as required. Interview and test job applicants. Oversee development and implementation of all strategies and tactics at the Community level consistent with Pacifica objectives.

Community Relations Director

  • Schedule meetings with and deliver presentations to community partners to share information and maintain a community presence for the agency
  • Build relationships with potential referral sources
  • Promote the companies brand to targeted communities
  • Coordinate specific promotional information related to events, meetings, special projects and activities
  • Professional Competencies (knowledge, skills, and abilities):
  • Knowledge of the local health care community. Computer experience necessary Effective time management and organizational skills. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills. Excellent customer service is a must! Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to adhere to deadlines and identified time.     Business Office Manager

    This position will facilitate the successful operation of the Pacifica community business office. This individual works with corporate office staff in support of corporate accounting and human resource procedures and activities that affect the local office. The Business Office Manager assist in coordinating office services, records control, marketing, and special projects; organize and administer the business and administrative office; and contribute to effective communication and pleasant working conditions.

    Activities Assistant

    This position assists the Activity Director in establishing a program of activities that is stimulating and that fosters a positive atmosphere through leisure activities that meet the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual and social needs of residents both inside and outside the Community. Primary duties include implementing activities and other programming set forth by the Activities Director, assisting in the creation and maintenance of facility newsletter, and creating and placing advertising for activities within the facility. This position requires a strong ability to multitask and the ability to adjust planned activities to accommodate residents. They must be able to work independently and within a team within the guidelines and policies set by the facility. This customer service centered position operates as the telephone, communication, information and referral center for all residents, staff and departments.

The primary responsibility of the Activity Director is the organization, conduct, and evaluation of planned activities. Primary duties include plans and implements a well-rounded and stimulating program of activities for seniors that fosters a positive atmosphere and meets the spiritual, cultural, physical, intellectual, and social needs of residents both inside and outside the community. assisting in the creation and maintenance of facility newsletter, and creating and placing advertising for activities within the facility. This position requires a strong ability to multitask and the ability to adjust planned activities to accommodate residents. They must be able to work independently and within a team within the guidelines and policies set by the facility. Candidate will be able to think outside the box and create new interesting activities for our Seniors while keeping their physical limitations in mind.

    Cook

    This position assists the Dining Services Director in preparing appealing, nutritious, heart-healthy, tasteful and fresh meals for residents, prospective residents, families and guests. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and at least two years’ experience with food preparation, food purchasing, kitchen safety, and sanitation and menu preparation in a restaurant, health care facility or institution. Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus and food labels correctly. Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work well with all people, particularly the elderly. Demonstrate willingness to help other staff when needed. May be required to hold a valid First Aid Certification. Must be willing and able to work required and scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, overtime and holidays. Able to maintain work pace appropriate to given work load.

    This position is responsible for providing excellent customer services while serving beverages· and meals to patrons seated at tables in the dining room(s) located in the Community. Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work well with all people, particularly the elderly. Demonstrate willingness to help other staff when needed. May be required to hold a valid First Aid Certification. Must be willing and able to work required and scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, overtime and holidays. Evaluate resident care needs and determine required level of care upon admission and changes in condition. Maintain clear records of all resident changes, requests, and irregularities. Update medical charts and care plan. Observe residents' health status and take actions to address concerns within scope of practice. Record and notify Executive Director, physician, pharmacist, and family of any significant changes to resident's health status and/or reactions to drugs, treatments, or significant incidents. Order medications from pharmacy, maintain records, and ensure that medications are properly stored and cared for.

    Licensed Vocational (LVN)

    This position is responsible for the direct and indirect nursing care to our residents. Responsible for reporting changes in resident conditions to the Resident Care Director and should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing care to our residents. Monitor and maintain records of immunizations requirements for associates and residents. Manage medication and monitor associates in administration of mediation, including frequent audits of medication records. Order medications from pharmacy and maintain records. Assure that medications are properly stored and cared for. Observe residents' health status and take actions to address concerns within scope of practice. Observe, record, and notify Executive Director, Resident Care/Services Director, physician, family, and pharmacist of significant changes to residents' condition and reactions to medication, treatments, and significant incidents. Maintain all health equipment for safe and proper function.

    Certified Nursing Assistant / Medication Technician/Assistant

    This position assists the Resident Services Director and/or the Health Services Director with monitoring resident health, including: Record Keeping, Scheduling of Personal Care Assistants, developing daily tasks and making assignments, Self-Medication Monitoring and Record Keeping, Initiate and Maintain Emergency Packets, Organization of Resident Charts. This position provides direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations, including being familiar with and prepared to fulfill responsibilities as outlined in the following position descriptions: Personal Care Assistant to Residents, Laundry/Housekeeper, Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper.

    Caregiver

    Experience preferred to work in 5-star senior care community. Will work both in Memory Care and Assisted Living Units, and will work with some outstanding and lovely residents

    A caring and helping-oriented attitude is important. Further, must be able to lift residents safely.

This includes any indoor household cleaning and organizing tasks assigned by the employer and may regularly include cleaning "projects" (e.g., cleaning and organizing a messy closet). Typical responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, laundry, mopping and waxing floors and changing and laundering linen. Some housekeeper/maid positions also require cooking or food preparation and heavy cleaning, like cleaning windows and furniture. The responsibilities should be specified early in the interview process to ensure the candidate is willing to tackle the tasks required. Will contribute to team effort by being flexible in work assignments, by giving support, by taking initiative, and by understanding how this position affects and compliments all other departments

    Must be well rounded in all aspects of community maintenance. Must be able to pass a level 2 background and drug testing. Every 8 weeks you will be required to work a manager on duty rotation but receive a day off during the week to compensate. This position will facilitate the successful physical plant operations of the Community. This position will perform or supervise the repairs, alterations and maintenance of Community property that will promote a high sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents, families and staff. High School diploma or equivalent certificate and a degree or certificate forms a two-year technical school program. Must possess demonstrated success in a similar position. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess basic math solving skills.

    Drivers, Transportation Coordinators

    This position is responsible for driving Community minibus, van, or lightweight truck to transport residents to doctor appointments, banking, grocery shopping, and other miscellaneous activity programs. Drive residents to do their banking, shopping or other scheduled errands. Assist residents in and out of the vehicle using the wheelchair life and/or stairs. Ensure residents are safely seated with seat belts or in wheelchair locking mechanisms. Account for all residents' presence when leaving or returning to the Community. Call residents' rooms for morning reminders. Assist residents in wheelchairs during activities outside the Community.
